DC drawn in Co-operative Insurance Cup First Round

Loughgall have been handed a difficult draw against Donegal Celtic in the first round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup. It is a two legged fixture with Loughgall travelling to Suffolk Road on Saturday 29th August and the return game at Lakeview Park takes place on Monday 7th September. Should Loughgall progress they will face local rivals Armagh City who received a bye.

Glens lined up for Robbo's testimonial

IFA Premiership Champions Glentoran will provide the opposition for Marc Robinson's testimonial game on Saturday 1st August.

Presentations made to Robbo at Quiz night

A number of presentations were made to Marc Robinson at his benefit quiz night held on Friday 19th June in the clubrooms. They were made from the football club and both the Lakeview Blues and City of Armagh supporters clubs.

Two more preseason friendlies

Loughgall have added a couple of more dates to their preseason schedule with games against Dollingstown and Dromara Village in mid-July.
Dollingstown v Loughgall
15th July – Planters Park, Dollingstown
Kick off: 7.30pm

Loughgall v Dromara Village
18th July – Lakeview Park, Loughgall
Kick off: 2.30pm

Quiz night for Robbo

A table quiz will be run in Loughgall FC clubrooms this Friday (19th) night in aid of Marc Robinson’s testimonial season.  Teams are limited to four members and admission is £4 per person.

Lukasz placed on transfer list

Lukasz Adamczyk has been placed on the transfer list by request. Adamczyk initially joined the Villagers from Glentoran on loan in September 2007 and made his stay permanent the following January.

Ivan Marshall Trophy details

The Ivan Marshall Memorial Trophy pre season tournament will take place towards the end of July.  Holders and hosts Loughgall will entertain Premiership outfit Dungannon Swifts on Monday 27th July and the other semi final takes place on Tuesday 28th between Armagh City and Coagh United.
Final will be played on Monday 3rd August.

Early pre season fixtures released

Loughgall have announced a number of pre season friendly fixtures for the incoming season.  An early start in July (Saturday 4th) sees Niall Currie’s squad travel to Millisle to participate in the annual tournament hosted by Abbey Villa and this also sees Mid – Ulster Intermediate A champions Dollingstown take place.

Awards Night - Alderdice voted Player of the Year

A crowded Loughgall Football Club on Saturday night past (23rd May) witnessed the annual awards night of in which Neil Alderdice deservedly landed two player of the year awards.

Under 10s earn good results in Scottish tournament

Loughgall Youth U10’s took part in the Scotland National 7's Soccer Festival in Ayr playing 6 matches in total.
