Loughgall will welcome old manager Niall Currie and his Portadown side in the Sixth Round of the Tennent’s Irish Cup. Loughgall secured their progress with a 3-0 victory over Fivemiletown United whilst the Ports defeated Larne 2-1 at Inver Park. The fixture will be played on Saturday 4th February 2017 at 3pm at Lakeview Park.
Institute picked up all three points at Lakeview Park to keep pace with title leaders Warrenpoint Town thanks to a second half brace from Stephen Curry. Loughgall’s postponed fixture against Institute will take place on it’s original date – Saturday 19th November. It was originally postponed due to player involvement in the Regions Cup however it will now be unaffected.
Following the resignation of Steven Hawe, Loughgall Football Club have announced the interim appointment of Dean Smith as first team manager. As per licensing requirements, a permanent appointment will be made within 60 days. Loughgall FC would like to wish Dean every success in his new position.
Loughgall’s management team of Steven Hawe and Stephen Uprichard have informed the club of their decision to step down from their role. We would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication, and wish them every success in the future. A further statement will be made in due course.
Armagh City welcome Loughgall to Holm Park in Semi Final of Mid Ulster Cup. The fixture will be played on Wednesday 30 November kick off 7.45pm. Loughgall’s fixture against Institute on Saturday 19th November has been postponed due to player involvement in the Regions Cup.
Following the successful completion of his UEFA B Licence, Steven Hawe has been appointed to the position of 1st Team Manager of Loughgall Football Club. Everyone at Lakeview wishes Steven every success going forward into the rest of this season.
Gerald Boyle has stepped down from his position as 1st Team Manager. In the interim, Steven Hawe will assume this responsibility.
Our home league fixture against Larne on Saturday 8th October will kick off at 1.30pm due to the N Ireland v San Marino match in the evening.
