Loughgall finished their league campaign with a high-scoring defeat at the hands of Ballyclare Comrades.
Striker Mark Kelly chipped Craig Robinson to make it 1-0 however their lead did not last long as Peter Campbell ran past 3 players to cross for Gary Liggett who rifled it into the net.
Ballyclare continued to look dangerous and Michael McQuitty took advantage of some poor Loughgall defending to make it 2–1. It wasn’t long until Chris Middleton made it 3-1 but the home side could feel aggrieved as he appeared to be offside.
The second half brought more goals with Gary Brown making it 4-1. Ballyclare added a fifth after a clumsy challenge in the box allowed Mark Kelly the opportunity to score his 2nd from the penalty spot.
With the game pretty much over Loughgall looked like they could produce a comeback with Nathaniel Ferris scoring two and having another shot saved in the space of a couple of minutes. However Loughgall had given themselves too much to do.
