The first half of this match was a tight affair, with neither side able to seriously threaten their opponent’s goal and the well organised defences were very much on top.
The second half continued in similar vein, with chances at a premium, although Loughgall ‘keeper Tyler Blair did have to be alert to block a Thomas Robinson effort inside the 6-yard box on 63 minutes.
At the other end Comrades ‘keeper Paddy Flood was having a quiet game, but showed his quality on 82 minutes, to come out quickly and win the ball, when it looked like Jordan Baker was through on goal.
The game looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw, but in the 90 th minute, Comrades struck the winner. Thomas Robinson found Chris Trussell in the box and he then laid the ball off perfectly for Michael O’Hanlon to strike a crisp finish into the net from 10 yards.
