Hat-trick hero Ryan Campbell ensured high-flying Dergview convincingly beat a depleted Loughgall side who continue their disappointing recent form.
Loughgall’s best chance of the game came in the first 15 minutes when a smart forward pass found Warner Mullen in space, inside the penalty area, however as the striker lined up a shot Shane Porter slid in to excellently block.
The visitors opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 19th minute after Graeme Taylor upended Nathan Cashel inside the penalty area. Striker Ryan Campbell stepped up and sent Loughgall ‘keeper Gareth Buchanan the wrong way to make it 1-0.
Campbell netted his second four minutes before the break when he pounced on a loose ball in the penalty area, after the Loughgall defence failed to clear, and fired low into the corner of the net.
Star forward Campbell completed his hat-trick after 67 minutes when he raced onto a defence-splitting pass and found a way past ‘keeper Buchanan.
Dergview scored a magnificent fourth goal with three minutes remaining when substitute Kyle Friel-Curran set-up Ivan Sproule to smash his effort into the top corner.
