Loughgall made the perfect start as they raced into a two-goal lead within 8 minutes. Firstly Daniel Burns fired home when clean through after a controversial decision by the referee to overrule his assistant’s offside call. And Ross Black curled a stunning 25 yard free-kick beyond Elliott Morris in Glentoran’s goals.
Fra McCaffrey pulled a goal back for the Glens four minutes later sliding home to convert Curtis Allen’s low cross. On the stroke of half-time David Scullion levelled with a well-taken shot from inside the area.
The visitors took the lead in the 76th minute when Danny McKee scored after a misjudgement by Loughgall ‘keeper Gareth Buchanan.
The Villagers equalised in injury time when Paul Walsh’s floated ball played in Gary Boyle to finish.
