Loughgall and league leader’s Institute shared the spoils in a 10 goal thriller at Lakeview Park in what was a superb advert for the local game full of drama. James Costello grabbed the opener for Loughgall after good approach play from Jeff Brady and Ryan Moffett but Institute level through a great Michael McCrudden free-kick, Costello again put Loughgall infront from a Moffett corner but a Stephen O’Flynn goal meant it was all square at the break 2-2.
Loughgall again took the lead on the 72 min after a great run by Justin Bradley who was then took down in the box, James Costello stepped up to strike home the penalty and register his 1st hat-trick for The Villager’s. This was the start of what was an incredible end to the game with two goals in two minutes for Institute from Stephen Curry and Robbie Hume putting them in the lead for the 1st time in the game but Loughgall fought back with two goals themselves from Bradley and Gerard Rooney to give them the lead for the 4th time and most likely the 3 points but great fighting spirit from Institute again with an injury time equaliser from Aaron Walsh meaning it was a point apiece, Incredible end to what was a thrilling game of football
