Loughgall FC had to settle for a point as Richard Clarke’s Dergview side went away from Lakeview with a share of the spoils. Loughgall were without captain Steven Ferguson and Josh Finlay after they were sent off the previous week, Dergview started brightly but both team’s were unable to create any clear cut chances apart from one good save from Wayne Drummond with his feet to keep the scores level.
On the half hour mark Dergview took the lead through the impressive Darren Higginbottom, after a quick throw in caught Loughgall off guard Higginbottom got in round the back of the defence and forced Drummond into another good stop but his save ricocheted back off Higginbottom and into the net in what was a very fortuitous goal and an unlucky one for Loughgall.
Brain Adair made a change at the break and brought on Justin Bradley for Wes Boyle with Ryan Moffett moving out to the wing, Bradley fresh from a hat-trick the previous night with the Reserves made the impact his manager wanted as he grabbed the equaliser just after the hour, he recieved a pass from another sub Jack McCreanor about 30 yards out, a clever flick deceived the Dergview defender and Bradley then found himself one on one with the keeper and he slotted home into the corner of the net to the delight of the Loughgall crowd.
A sustained period of pressure from Loughgall followed with several set-piece deliveries from Moffett causing problems and Loughgall hit the post in one instance but they coudnt get a winner to take the 3 point’s and had to settle for one.
