Loughgall pushed Danske Bank Premiership side Coleraine all the way in an entertaining League Cup game at the Showgrounds.
Aaron Haire put the visitors ahead after only 6 minutes when he latched onto Jude Ballard’s pass and coolly slotted home.
The Bannsiders’ equalised six minutes into the second period when Steven Douglas converted Ruari Harkin’s corner.
Douglas was then shown a second yellow card on the hour mark when he collided with Ballard.
Coleraine netted the decisive goal five minutes into extra-time from another set-piece. Stephen Lowry’s superb free-kick delivery was flicked on by Johnny Stewart past Loughgall debutant ‘keeper Willie McKinstry.
