A goal in either half from winger Ronan Kinney saw Warrenpoint Town pick up all three points against Loughgall.
Colin Malone made four changes to the side that were thrashed by Lurgan Celtic with Alain Emerson, Aaron Rodgers, Mark Stewart and John Guy all starting.
Kinney opened the scoring in the 18th minutes with a fabulous lob over goalkeeper Buchanan after Keith Johnson’s precise pass.
Loughgall threatened six minutes into the second period when Dean Heasley’s half-volley crept past the post.
Shortly after Town came close when Kinney saw his right-footed shot pushed onto the post by ‘keeper Buchanan.
On 63 minutes a breakaway led by Steven Ferguson resulted in Dale Malone stepping back onto his right foot before curling an effort just over the crossbar.
The second goal was scored midway through the second half when Kinney skilfully created a shooting opportunity inside the penalty area where he fired accurately into the corner of the net beyond Buchanan’s reach.
