Awards night report – Robbo wins two awards

Marc Robinson deservedly landed both the Player of the Year and Clubman of the Year at Loughgall FC’s awards night last Saturday night (4th June).  Robinson collected both awards for his excellent performances on the pitch and stepping in to ably manage the side for the last few months of the season.

Darragh Peden scooped the Lakeview Blues Supporters Club Player of the Year while Andy Smith was awarded the City of Armagh Loughgall Supporters Club Player of the Year.  Dean Smith won the leading goalscorer with 17 goals in 16 appearances at the start of the season.

Nathan Baird was rewarded with the Young Player of the Year for his tremendous performances when breaking into the first team.

Mark O’Connor won the Loughgall United Player of the Year trophy while Steven Herron picked up the Leading Goalscorer.

On the non-playing aspect of Loughgall FC, Mabel Brown was presented the Merit Award for her hard work and dedication behind the scenes.  Secretary Noel McClure was presented the Chairman’s Cup for his 30-year plus service to Loughgall FC.

There was also a special presentation on behalf of the Loughgall FC to Barry Bloomer for representing the Northern Ireland Junior International team in the UEFA Regions Cup.
