Loughgall 1 – 1 Larne

Loughgall wrapped up their league campaign with a hard-fought point against Larne at Lakeview Park.

The home side made one change from last week’s defeat with Stephen Herron replacing the unavailable Barry Bloomer.

Loughgall almost made the perfect buy avodart usa start when, after two minutes, Daniel Ryan robbed Mark Brown off the ball before racing clear and seeing his low shot well saved by ‘keeper Davy Henry.

Larne created two good opportunities just before Loughgall broke the deadlock; firstly Davy Larmour smashed a 20 yard shot off the base of the post and then Adam Dick fired wide from a similar position.

Marty Verner opened the scoring for the Villagers with a well-taken goal on 27 minutes.  Marty Murray played a smart pass to release Verner who steadied himself before smashing past ‘keeper Henry from inside the penalty area.

Larne netted their equaliser with only one minute remaining when Gary Workman met Alan Murphy’s clearing header and struck an unbelievable drive from 35 yards that flew into the top corner of the net.
