Loughgall 1 – 2 H&W Welders

Following their excellent draw against Carrick Rangers at the weekend, Loughgall fell to a disappointing 1 – 2 defeat against a relentless H&W Welders side at Lakeview Park.

The visitors netted an opener on 28 minutes when good skill and an inviting cross by Ryan Harvey was converted by Andrew McGrory from close range.

Loughgall levelled in the 71st minute when Barry Bloomer smashed the ball home following ‘keeper Michael Dougherty’s low parry to deny Alan Murphy’s header.

However the Welders were ahead straight away when, following the kick-off, McGrory was released clear to round goalkeeper Marc Robinson and slot home for his second goal.
