Lurgan Institute 3 – 5 Loughgall United

Loughgall United put in a great performance to see off the challenge of Lurgan Institute and progress to the next stage of the Ivan Marshall Cup.

The hosts took an early lead from the penalty spot after 5 minutes when the referee spotted some shirt pulling.  The lead didn’t last long as Ashley Gregg levelled with a smashing volley before netting a second from the penalty spot keflex online pharmacy after Adam Hylands was upended in the penalty area.

Institute levelled shortly after when the ball managed to creep over the goal line making it 2-2 at half time.

United continued to play attractive football but couldn’t finish any of the chances that were created until midway through the second period when Gregg Harrison raced clear to round the ‘keeper and slot home.

Steven Herron extended Loughgall’s lead heading home Gregg’s corner delivery and the scoring was completed when Aaron Willis smashed home from a tight angle.

With a minute remaining the Lurgan side grabbed a goal back when the ball kindly fell to their forward who made no mistake.
